Some bikes use heat resistant sleeving to protect ignition wires and alternator wires that are clipped to the engine block.
This product is made from braided 'E' glass yarn coated with acrylic resin. It is suitable for continuous heat of 155?C (Class F). It is resistant to abrasion which is important for protecting wiring subject to road debris being fired at it from the tyres.
The 6mm is perfect for three 2mm? wires from an alternator. You can even slip in two 1mm? wires for the neutral switch and oil pressure light if need be, based on using our thinwall wire, though it is little free space. We always finish of the end with a bit of 10mm heat shrink.
