Shipping Charges

We do not profit from shipping and charge nothing for packaging

Royal Mail

For orders up to £50 you have the option to use the cheaper Royal Mail 48 Tracked. 

For some inexplicable reason Royal Mail say that 48Hr Tracked is NOT a forty eight hour service. It should be noted that we do NOT recommend Royal Mail, though to be fair their budget competitors are no better, and if you need your order within any rigid timeframe we would suggest using the APC Overnight service

Next day Shipping 

For mainland UK we use APC Overnight who are one of the smaller and more reliable couriers.

For Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland we have no option but to use Royal Mail 24Hr Tracked as they effectively have the monopoly

Orders up to £24 in value will be shipped for £7.49. 

Items over £24.01 but below £180.00 will be shipped for £9.49.

Orders over £180.00 will be shipped free of charge.

Bank Holidays etc

Please note that during bank holidays, particularly the Christmas period, delays from couriers are inevitable. 

Shipping Terms

Certain heavy items, such as some bike lifts, have to be shipped with a pallet company and will therefore have a different cost for carriage, If you are ordering a heavy item and live off the UK mainland, eg Isle of Man, please contact us for a shipping cost.

International Shipping Terms

If you live outside the UK we will have to package your order, weigh and measure it and then advise you of the cost of shipping via Royal Mail Tracked services. We never send any items on non-tracked services.

Please bear in mind that a number or products such as aerosols and some batteries cannot be sent internationally, even though we seem to get away with posting them domestically.

We do NOT charge UK VAT (Value Added Tax) to non-UK customers, but your own government may do so at customs. As a result of recent overseas taking goods and refusing to pay their customs fees, which we had to cover, we no longer send good with any courier other than Royal Mail who will NOT had over good without any customs fees being paid. We now have a limit of £200 on overseas orders. It is sad reflection on the international community of bikers that this has happened, but sadly there are bad apples in every barrel.

If you change your mind about an order after we have packaged it and advised you of the shipping costs, we will charge a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs. If your order contains items such as wire or sleeving that has to be cut for your order specifically, then this is not refundable at all. So PLEASE be aware that there will be costs involved with buying products outside you own country, before ordering.

If you are unwilling to pay the cost of postage to your country and whatever charges your government make on you, please DO NOT order from us.
