This tyre fitting paste, sometimes referred to as tyre soap, more from its consistency than its effect, can be brushed onto the tyre and the rim to make the removing and fitting tyres much easier. Dry tyres are really hard work to push on and off the rim, but this inexpensive lubricant makes all the difference. Also, once the tyre is on the rim it makes it easier to get the bead to pop out, when you first inflate it. The tool works perfectly and is a good alternative to the original. It's a shame that the UK is no longer in the EU. Customs duties make it expensive, but I couldn't find anything cheaper on the European mainland.
