This pick up tool features powercap? which slides over the magnet shielding the magnet from latching onto other bits of the bike, such as frame members, as you poke it down through to rescue that part that slipped down into the most inaccessible place on the planet. Once the head reaches the target the powercap? can slide back so that the face of the magnet can attach itself to the runaway part. The powercap? also focuses the magnetic flux increasing it's strength.
The tool extends from 5?" to well over two feet and can lift 2?lbs (over a kilo). The body has a textured cushion grip which will not slip in wet or oily hands. It also has a pocket clip so you can keep it in your overalls ready for action.
