A very useful American tool that makes it dead easy to set the plug gap. Far easier than mucking about with feeler gauges. Gauges and Gaps all Types of Spark Plugs from .020" to .100" (.50mm to 2.53mm). Tapered edge for gauging spark plugs. Specially designed hole with flange adjusts side wire of plug without pressuring centre electrode. The metric graduations are on the reverse.

As a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Engineer with 60 years experience I have always used Chemico Valve Grinding Paste to not only lap in valves in a cylinder head, but to also to lap in plain bushes to allow clearance for lubrication. I would not use or recommend anything else to carry out these tasks.
Fitted and doing just what was required.
