A pair of locking pliers with with dual serrated jaws, making these ideal for gripping damaged screw heads and fasteners. The vertical grooves in the nose section allow for the pliers to bite the screw head firmly, and does not allow it to slip. A simple and logical means of securing a cylinder head whilst removing valves etc.

As a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Engineer with 60 years experience I have always used Chemico Valve Grinding Paste to not only lap in valves in a cylinder head, but to also to lap in plain bushes to allow clearance for lubrication. I would not use or recommend anything else to carry out these tasks.
Fitted and doing just what was required.
