This British made regulator/rectifier unit replaces the original rectifier and regulators units in one neat package that is more or less the same foot print as the original rectifier.
The hole spacing dimensions are from 53mm to 66mm. The unit uses modern mosfet technology. The three yellow wires connect to the three AC phases from the alternator, the black is negative and the red connects to the battery via the white or white/red connection on the starter solenoid.
It should be noted that Lithium-Ion battery are NOT compatible with this reg/rec any more than they are with the original system
