This is a new tool and we're pretty imprssed with it.It locks its grips into the piston so you can concentrate your efforts on turning the piston and pulling it out without having to gripping hard to hold the tool in the piston as well. Whilst it isn't as good as the piston removal kit, it is considerably better than the plier style tools. If you're restoring rough old bikes there is < kit, but providing you don't allow your calipers to become seriously corroded, this tool will give good service. <<<<<<
