Setting the fluid level in front forks accurately is critical to the safe handling of your bike and this tool makes it a piece of cake.
The vast majority of workshop manuals will give you an air height for the fluid level ie the measurement from the top of the fork tube to the fluid level often with spring out and the fork at maximum compression. You simply tighten up the setting screw on the aluminium ring at the correct air height, fill the fork tube to approximately the correct height, by eye and then a little bit more. Push the metal tube into the fork leg and suck the excess fluid out using the syringe; when the fluid is at the correct height the syringe will start to suck air instead of suspension fluid. You then move to the next leg safe in the knowledge that both legs will contain exactly the same height of fluid.
This tool is of better quality than the above but not up to the professional workshop version below. As with all tools from Laser Tools it is well made.

from 84 reviewsThey are smaller than I thought they would be, but they have the levereage and cutting power of anything bigger. An asset to the toolbox, thanks.

It sprays chemicals from its bottle and doesn't leak. It comes in a handy plastic bag and as I bought four, some will be clean until I use them.

It comes in a clever box, with the software separate. The instructions are clear and precise, and I'll be using it in a week or so on my GPZ900r.

Very pleased - the best wiring connections I've ever achieved for my bike

More than surpassed my expectations. A quality product that worked as it should.

These look alright I have not used them just yet But OK Good service to And the free Haribos are a nice touch Will shop at Bikers Tool Box again Big thumbs up
