Non-Insulated double crimp ring terminals for 1 - 3mm wire for various bolt/stud sizes. We always insulate the crimped part with heat shrink making a safer and neater job. In the photos above (click image to enlarge) you can see that we have used a colour of heat shrink to match the wire colour.
You will need a non-insulated crimp tool for these terminals and we would recommend the ratcheting type; you'll only buy it once!

The tool works perfectly and is a good alternative to the original. It's a shame that the UK is no longer in the EU. Customs duties make it expensive, but I couldn't find anything cheaper on the European mainland.
Bought one of these when I started as an apprentice toolmaker in 1968, After several new heads both hyde and copper, I thought it was time to replace it.
