This epoxy stick is used by slicing off a lump, which is then kneaded in a gloved hand to mix the two component parts. it can then be formed into a shape. Where lugs etc have broken from aluminium castings it can be used to replace the missing part. With materials like zinc diecast where welding can not be carried out, epoxy putty is the perfect solution. It can be drilled , tapped filled etc just like metal. It's obviously never going to be as strong as metal, but we have used epoxy putty often to repair damaged castings to great effect.
It is resistant to oil so can be used in engine and gear box components. 114g stick.

Great lamp. Well worth the money. So good I’ve ordered another one.
The tool works perfectly and is a good alternative to the original. It's a shame that the UK is no longer in the EU. Customs duties make it expensive, but I couldn't find anything cheaper on the European mainland.
Bought one of these when I started as an apprentice toolmaker in 1968, After several new heads both hyde and copper, I thought it was time to replace it.
Brilliant tool, well made, heavily used and never let me down. WShy would I not replace with exactly the same model.
Quality instrument well made with good case. Excellent value for money

Excellent service again from Bikers Toolbox, cannot recommend highly enough.
As soon as I held the vernier calipers in my hand, I could understand the quality.
