ACF-50

ACF-50 is a product originally developed to protect aircraft's infrastructure from the constant attack from moisture. The environment motorcycles work in, is even more aggressive than that of aircraft, especially in the winter when salt is spread all over the roads forming an electrolite with water. It is so corrosive, particularly when you have dissimilar metals such as steel/stainless steel in aluminium which promotes galvanic corrosion. When ACF-50 is applied to the metals it forms a very thin, invisible film that protects the bike, and doesn't wash off when you clean it.
