We bought one of these sets years ago and now wonder how we ever managed without it. It has two methods for extracting bearings, one being the slide hammer as with the above set and also frame work with legs where you draw the bearing out with a threaded device. The latter method we have always found preferable, especially when using a ratchet spanner.
Internal bearing puller suitable for the extraction of bearings that require pulling, not pressing, out.
- Diameter of adapters: 8, 10mm x 100mm; 12, 15, 17mm x 60mm; 20mm x 95mm; 25, 30, 32mm x 60mm.
- Supplied with chrome plated slide hammer with 300mm working shaft.
- Includes spacer collar and tapered bolt.

I hate changing tyres, but this stuff made the job much easier.
I broke the bead on the old tyre then applied the paste with a paint brush. Ten year old Bridgestone slid off easily and the new Heidenau, with very stiff sidewalls, was fitted much more easily than when I’d tried with washing-up liquid.
After having struggled trying to set the pilot air screws on my Suzuki’s carb’s - I saw this recommended in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics and it is an excellent piece of kit and well made too.
