Micro relays are perfect for motorcycles where there is always a space and weight issue. Very rarely will you ever need more than 20amps (240watts @ 12 volts). Very often horns use more current than is wise to draw through the handle bar switch, especially if you use a louder snail horn or similar to make your presence on the road apparent to the seemingly psychopathic car drivers out to get you. Relays are very simple to use. Below is a very simple diagram showing how a relay is used to switch a lamp. What you are doing is to draw a very low current through your handle bar switch to power an electromagnet which operates a much heavier switch to power the load.

from 380 reviewsPerfect as my aluminium ones were on their last legs
Good quality connector and terminals.
Perfect for a tidy wiring loom
Quality items delivered quickly.
Good crimps. Brilliant for joining wire and the shrink tube provided is a bonus. A used a crimping tool I already had and it worked fine
Great service, great items exactly as description 👍
Good quality and crimp well
The only way to work on Japanese bikes without knackering up the screw heads. Fit perfectly in to a hex adaptor or impact driver
Not used these yet, however, they appear to be good quality and also referenced from the Haynes Manual for the Ducati Scrambler 803 so I'm hopeful these will allow me to do the belt change with minimal issues.
Arrived quickly and does what it says on the tun. Thank you 😊
I fitted this on Bikers Toolbox Advice to my 1967 Positive Earth Triumph that I was fitting with LED indicators, but i wired the flasher with L to Live from the battery as advised ( normally L is to indicator and B to battery). It worked a treat
