This tool is designed for assembly and dismantling of fork caps, especially Öhlins.
It has a knurled exterior to add nut spinning and has a rubber scratch protector to protect the fork cap. It can be used either with a 1/2" drive socket set tool or a 24mm socket or spanner. The four locating pins are 3.5mm diameter. The internal diameter is 35.5mm and the external is 42.3mm

Quite a small strobe than I’m used to, but works very well. Light in weight and easy to handle.

As a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Engineer with 60 years experience I have always used Chemico Valve Grinding Paste to not only lap in valves in a cylinder head, but to also to lap in plain bushes to allow clearance for lubrication. I would not use or recommend anything else to carry out these tasks.
