The nuts on the paralever ball joint need to be torqued up to 96 ft/lbs whilst the male part is held still with a 7mm hex key. BMW have a special tool (part number 315600) which is not readily available and probably quite expensive if you do manage to find one. We made up this kit up for a customer who was desperate, being unable to find a genuine factory tool even for ready money. He tells us our kit worked a treats. He wanted it it for a 1997 K1200RS, but we understand that this kit is suitable for most BMWs that use paralever suspension. The socket is suitable for a 21mm nut.

Well made and right for the job
Great little set for the money. I'd already got a six-piece set of JIS screwdrivers and some individual ones but was loath to leave them at the bike-shop i work in so i bought these and am more than happy.
The set is doing everything i could ask of it and provides better access most of the time in tight-spots.
