We have been using RTD for donkey's years. It's not cheap, but that said it does go a long way. This paste is perfect for drilling, reaming and tapping. We've always used the tin as it's great to dip the drill or tap in before cutting. It says on the tin that it makes cutting easier and doubles the life of the tools, and that's exactly what it does!
RTD is the world leading, hand applied, lubricant for reaming, tapping and drilling and has been the market leader for over 60 years.
The RTD range contains technically advanced extreme pressure additives which significantly reduce friction at the cutting edge, giving superb performance.
As a result RTD extends tool life and promotes superior surface finish, bringing cost saving efficiencies as well as improved quality.
RTD Compound is a soft paste and is suitable for all metals including hardened steels, titaniums and nimonics, in even the most severe cutting operations.

Let customers speak for us
Only had to use it twice, we get a lot of off-road tackle through the shop, but it does make a useful difference to a sometimes annoying little job.
Great service, the sodium ion battery punches well above the normal battery, weighs next to nothing and doesn’t cost a fortune. The help and advice from Ralph was much appreciated too!
Nice tools that are easy to handle and use!
Well made and right for the job
Great little set for the money. I'd already got a six-piece set of JIS screwdrivers and some individual ones but was loath to leave them at the bike-shop i work in so i bought these and am more than happy.
The set is doing everything i could ask of it and provides better access most of the time in tight-spots.
Good quality tool
Great stuff, delighted I came across you. Would recommend to anyone 🤟⚡️🤟
Perfect for the job, quick delivery, reasonable price.
Great item
Thanks
Just what I wanted thanks
Just what the Doctor ordered, great shop.
I've given 5 stars for looks but I haven't used it yet.
Good quality
Good item, well designed especially being so flat on the wheel nut: it makes very easy and feels less probe to slide out of the bolt…
