This is a very comprehensive tap and die set which is great for bikes as it has plenty of metric fine threads. The downside is at this price it isn't top end industrial quality, so if you're regularly cutting threads in 316 marine grade stainless, you'll need to dig deeper :) For cleaning out threads and making odd parts and repairs for your project bikes it will be fine. For high quality industrial threading tools you will pay the cost of this set for one size of taps (1st, 2nd taper and plug). A particular bonus with this set is that it has M7 which is uncommon but is often used on motorcycle caliper bleed nipples, which often get neglected and need the threads clearing!
The set has taps and dies to cover the following sizes: M3 x 0.5, M3 x 0.6, M4 x 0.7, M4 x 0.75, M5 x 0.8, M5 x 0.9, M6 x 0.75, M6 x 1.0, M7 x 0.75, M7 x 1.0, M8 x 1.0, M8 x 1.25, M10 x 1.25, M10 x 1.5, M12 x 1.5, M12 x 1.75 and 1/8" NPT x 27 (National Pipe Thread x 27TPI). The set also contain two tap wrenchs, a 25mm die stock, a rubbish screw driver, a rubbish looking centre punch, a useful wire brush and an uber useful thread pitch guage.

Bought this ratchet after seeing the review in CCM , in my haste I purchased just the ratchet rather than the kit, anyway it’s got a quality feel and I’m sure it will be a useful addition , yet to use in anger

I had the previous incarnation of the Rotolok ratchet the head and handle of which swivelled but didn't lock into place. That was good - but this is better. A really useful set, especially for those tight spaces. Feels substantial and well made too
