A set of 6 combined drill tap bits designed to drill and tap a hole in a single pass. Each bit has been manufactured from high speed steel (HSS) with a Titanium-Nitride coating for hardness, rust resistance and longevity. The tap bits feature a drill section at the end of each bit which forms the perfect sized tap hole in the material for the following tap section to then cut the threads into, together with spiral flutes to clear the swarf created; plus a deburring shoulder to ensure the edge of the hole is finished without any sharp edges. The set also includes a 60mm long magnetic bit holder with a quick-chuck end for ease of use.
- 6x tap drill bits with 1/4" Hex drive: M3 x 0.5 (max 400rpm), M4 x 0.7 (max 400rpm), M5 x 0.8 (max 350rpm), M6 x 1.0 (max 300rpm), M8 x 1.25 (max 250rpm) and M10 x 1.5mm (max 200rpm). NOTE: The max rpm is a guide for use on wood and plastic only.
- Supplied with a magnetic bit holder. Length: 60mm.
- Suitable for drilling and tapping iron or carbon steel plate up to 3mm thick and aluminium or copper plate up to 6mm thick.
- Bits manufactured from HSS4241 with Titanium-Nitride coating and quick chuck ends. Supplied in a storage case.
- Spares available, Part Nos. 61871 (M3 x 0.5mm), 61872 (M4 x 0.7mm), 61873 (M5 x 0.8mm), 61867 (M6 x 1.0mm), 61868 (M8 x 1.25mm) and 61869 (M10 x 1.5mm). Note: manual tapping is not recommended, as this will affect the precise concentricity and adversely affect the product performance life.

from 380 reviewsPerfect as my aluminium ones were on their last legs
Good quality connector and terminals.
Perfect for a tidy wiring loom
Quality items delivered quickly.
Good crimps. Brilliant for joining wire and the shrink tube provided is a bonus. A used a crimping tool I already had and it worked fine
Great service, great items exactly as description 👍
Good quality and crimp well
The only way to work on Japanese bikes without knackering up the screw heads. Fit perfectly in to a hex adaptor or impact driver
Not used these yet, however, they appear to be good quality and also referenced from the Haynes Manual for the Ducati Scrambler 803 so I'm hopeful these will allow me to do the belt change with minimal issues.
Arrived quickly and does what it says on the tun. Thank you 😊
I fitted this on Bikers Toolbox Advice to my 1967 Positive Earth Triumph that I was fitting with LED indicators, but i wired the flasher with L to Live from the battery as advised ( normally L is to indicator and B to battery). It worked a treat
