Dyna S Electronic Ignition for Kawasaki Z1 Series Engine

The beauty of the Dyna S system is that it is simplicity itself to fit. It requires no programming and uses the standard advance/retard on the end of the crank. The points plate is removed and replaced with the Dyna S and the points cam is replaced with the Dyna rotor.

For a proper professional installation we would recommend binning the supplied terminals in favour of proper 3.9mm bullet connectors and running the cable in heat resistant braided sleeve gives a much nicer look and protects the wiring from the heat of the engine.

This system can be either set up statically or dynamically using a stobe timing light. All instructions are included.

Genuine Kawasaki Z1, Z900 & Z1000 Valve Shim Tool

This is the genuine Kawasaki special tool, made in Japan, that enables you to replace valve shims without having to remove the camshafts. Ensure that you do read the Kawasaki sorkshop manual before using.

There are plenty Zed manuals to download. The Z1 Owners Club have links to downloadable files for club members on their forum.

Please note the tool in the photo demonstrating use is actually a pattern copy from our own workshop which has been out of production for many years, but is essentially identical to the genuine ones, which have always been difficult to source.

Regulator Rectifier for Classic Kawasaki

This British made regulator/rectifier unit replaces the original rectifier and regulators units in one neat package that is more or less the same foot print as the original rectifier.

The hole spacing dimensions are from 53mm to 66mm. The unit uses modern mosfet technoloy. The three yellow wires connect to the three AC phases from the alternator, the black is negative and the red conects to the battery via the white or white/red connetion on the starter solenoid.

It should be noted that Lithium-Ion battery are NOT compatible with this reg/rec any more than they are with the original system

Alternator Stator Winding for Z1 Series Kawasakis

Stator winding for alternator as fitted to Z1, Z1A, Z1B, Z900A4, Z1000A1, Z1000A2 and Z1R.Also Limited versions using the original Z series engine.

This British made pattern part comes with a new grommet which should be well bedded in using RTV silicone for a leak free system.

We've fitted dozens of these parts and have found them to be extremely reliable.

This may be a cheap ignition coil, but we have been using these coils on our Zeds for years and can't see the point in spending big bucks on coils when these pattern ones work fine.
