These excellent quality hard wearing ratchet straps are manufactured to EN 12195-2:2001, so should not be confused with the nasty bright orange items commonly available from market stalls, fleabay etc. We tried the cheapo ones and nearly lost a restored 1977 Z1000A1 off the back of a trailer - never again.

To strap a bike down in a van or on trailer, we recommend using the Bike-It handlebar strap, with a ratchet strap either side, fully compressing the front forks. Any straps, whether used for lifting of securing should be looked after. Where possible try not to twist straps, don't allow them to become soaked with oil of other chemicals and whilst they are fine to be used outside, it is nor advisable to store in direct sunlight with the associated ultra violet rays.

These tie down anchors have loads of uses. As bike benches rarely have enough, if any, tie down points, we always fit a number of these on our benches. Before these came on the market we used 'U' bolts, but they were always getting in the way when not in use. When not being used the tie on point is easily removed, leaving an unobtrusive anchor point. They can also used inthe back ov vans or in trailers to tie down bikes. Please be carefull not to ratchet against the quick release mechanism at an angle. These anchors are great but care must be used. We have tried lots of wheel chocks, both expensive and too cheap, and this product is the best we have tried. It's not the cheapest, but it is the easiest to use and is very well made. We have found that the soft rubber feet make it much easier to get the bike out when you're on your own. Ours lives in the van and never slides around when not in use.

Unique heavy duty hydraulic lift specifically design for Harley Davison motorcycles. Great for cleaning as well as working on the bikes. It will easily raise even the heaviest Harleys from 4 ¾" to 15 ¾" and the bike can be gently lowered again with a hand release valve system. There are safety locks on the sides just in case of a hydraulic failure. Harley Dynas have an uneven lower frame rail and we have found that a piece of gash wood is perfect for evening it up on the lift; all other models are flat bottomed so present no issues. The lift has wheels and a big handle so the bikes can be carefully moved whilst on the lift.
